About

StockroomLane is a reading site for owners of independent shops. It covers four jobs: counting stock and deciding what to reorder, closing the till and explaining the drawer, checking what suppliers deliver, and using shop software for all of that.

Each guide begins as a draft produced by AI software on a local computer. Software then gives each statement a source of its own, shown beside it. Before the guide goes up, a second AI system, built by an outside firm, reads through the claims once. Nobody writes, edits, rewrites or reviews a guide by hand, and mistakes can still slip through, so confirm anything important against its source.

Worked examples say they are examples. No made-up figures, names, prizes, customers or audience sizes appear here.

The site explains how shop work is commonly done. It is not advice on law, tax, accounts or card security. Questions, and word of mistakes, go to operations@stockroomlane.com.
